Fruity Pasta With Del Monte


I love pasta and I am always on this never ending journey of trying out new restaurants for pasta. These days I have started cooking as well and doing a good job as well. I love eating pasta as salad, meal or snack or anyway. Last year I got chance to try a new kind of dessert made using pasta which is called Fruity Pasta. It was yummy. I immediately consulted the chef of that restaurant for the ingredients and tried at home for myself. Its good to have it as dessert. 

So finally I am going to share my secret recipe with you all. Its really simple to make and is a treat for all. For any pasta dish there are two important things. One is dressing and second is pasta. I live in a tiny flat where I lack resources. But dish will taste good that's my guarantee. 

Del Monte has variety of pastas and that to be of superb quality. I got Chifferi Rigati for this dish.

Pasta - 100 gms (4 times of my measurement lid was equivalent to 100 gm)

Dressing Ingredients 
1/2 Lemon 
1 Table spoon honey
1 Tea Spoon sugar
Half Tea Spoon Black pepper
Half Tea Spoon White Salt

First boil pasta and drain excess water from it and allow it to cool down. For dressing take a clear bowl and add sugar. 

Then add honey

Add black pepper and salt

Squeeze lemon, mix it well to make dressing. 

Its a golden color syrup. Once pasta is still warm add the dressing to it and mix it well. Refrigerate it for fifteen minutes and dessert is ready. If you wish you can add fruits like grapes, pomegranates, cherries for more taste. 

This is a very good option for pasta lovers who want to eat more by spending very few minutes in kitchen.
